Crochet an Easter Bunny

MATERIALS

– Yarn: Jeans form Yarn Art in gold color (you will need less than 1 skein)
– Hook size: 2.5mm (or in accordance with the yarn you use)
– 5-6mm safety eyes
– Fiberfill, yarn needles, markers and scissors

ABBREVIATIONS

– MR: magic ring
– st(s): stich(s)
– sc: single crochet
– inc: 1 increase = 2 sc in the same st
– dec: 1 decrease = sc2 together (use the invisible decrease for better result)
– x*: repeat * times
– slst: slip stich
– (…): stitches counted of the round
– BLO: back loops only
– FO: fasten off

NOTE

This pattern is written using American terminology
We will work in continous rounds. Do not join or turn if not instructed in the pattern

– Insert eyes between rounds 20&21 with a distance of 5 sts between them then stuffing

– FO, leave a long yarn tail then use yarn needle to put yarn through remaining sts and pull to close the hole

– FO, leave a long yarn tail, flatten and fold the ear then sew 2 sides together

ARMs (make 2)

1. MR with 6 sc

– Flatten then crochet 2 sides togetherby 4 sc
– FO, leave a long yarn tail to sew later
– Do the same with the second
– Sew arms between rounds 16&17 of the body

FINISH

– Sew ears to top of the head
– Use brown yarn to embroider the nose, and pink yarn for the cheeks (split yarn if necessary)
– Use white yarn to embroider next to eyes
